Cooper STT's or Toyo OC MT's?

I know I want one of these two tires, size 285 70 17 in Coopers, or 295 70 17 in Toyos but I need help deciding. So far I am leaning towards the Coopers based on $210 for Coopers vs $310 for the Toyos. Some of my concerns are the Coopers are only D rated, although I have been running D rated BFG's with no issues, I have also heard the Coopers don't balance well. Please give me some honest, unbiased feedback on your experience with either of these.
Thanks

I have the coopers, they are ok, but a little soft. I will get around 35k out of mine, which is pretty weak. they really got tore up from the newly graveled roads where I was hunting in MT. $100 difference from the 2? wow when I bought mine there was like a $30 difference, Cooopers must have come way down.

I have had no problems towing heavy with the Coopers. I am due for a new pair, but I am really undecided what to get next. Probably will be the Toyo's, i am a little concerned the 295s will rub with the rims I have without a leveling kit.

Originally I had Toyo AT's which are D rated on y truck after I installed the Carli suspension. Now, I have the Toyo's because there is a big difference between the way a D tire and an E tire feel and handle, at least on the Dodge.

Have 35's on the Dodge, but we did get a set of 35" SST's for the girlfriend's Yukon. They're a very good tire, you're just better off with an E tire for these heavy duty trucks.

I've had both and IMO the Coopers are just as good of a tire. The Toyos are not worth $100 more per tire.

I've had good results with both Coopers and Toyos. The coopers are a lot less $$, but the Toyos are pretty much armor-clad. That toughness and load rating costs more.

Got Coopers on mine 315/70R17 . Rotated & balanced every 5000 miles. I have 31000 mostly highway miles on them and I believe at least another 10 thousand miles left. However I did notice that the right front tire is starting to cup a little. Maybe I better have the alignment checked. One thing I did find out was that they are helpless in the mud, otherwise I would buy another set.

Forgot to mention that if you haul a slide-in camper over 2000 lbs the D-rated coopers will give you so much sway you will hate them. If you dont haul a camper-no worries

There are websites that have the toyos you are looking for around $245 a tire. so you can find them for cheaper.

That's exactly my situation(see sig.) I switched to Toyo M-55's after dealing with so much sway with "D" rated tires(along with a $3300 damage blowout) on my '99. "E''s always on my '07
