Question Cooper

Anyone running Cooper Discoverer ATR 315/70/17? What are you running for pressure? They say 50 psi, but they look like they are squatting quite a bit? I dont want to overinflate them, or run them underinflated. Afraid of cupping. What are you all running?

I am running the Cooper Discoverer 285. 50PSI (looks like a small squat) 10,000 miles, rotated once - no cupping yet.

I near the end of my third set of tires at 136000 on my '96. First two sets were the goodyear 245's then Michelin 245's and now Cooper Dicoverer 285's, I think mine is LTX. I really liked the improve gripping on wet pavement, but I wore mine out quicker than should have but feel like it's my fault. On the original 245's mine always wore on the outsides of the tread untill I kept jacking up the pressure to 75 psi. When I switched to 285's I started running at about 65 psi but noticed the center tread was wearing and started reducing pressure finally to 45 psi, but I did not react quick enough or pay attention well enough and now my center tread is nearly gone and the outside tread still looks great. Go figure . Regardless I feel the Cooper is an outstanding tire and you'll be happy with.
