Where did you put the oil temp sender? On top of the oil filter outlet.
Yup! Oil temp is in the top of the oil filter housing. Oil pressure comes from the driver's side of the block. There's a M10 plug you can take out to access the oil gallery.

I am running a Garrett GT3582R/GT4202 and pull a 15k 5th wheel in the high elevation Calgary area. Really knocked down the EGTs which was my top goal. Good spool at the bottom end and pushes well at the top. Nice even power band. I would possibly look at a GT4202R with the right deal but overall I am really happy with this setup for towing and tearing around. The 3582 is a bit on the small side but it does exactly what I wanted it to do, spool quick. The wastegate transfers exhaust to the 4202 seamlessly and when that kicks in it just pulls forever. Not sure how the cam would affect the balance though, I am running a stocker.

Lots of interesting thoughts in these threads. Mostly from folks who live well above sea level.

Good luck with the build.

It was a custom build by ASW - Airdrie Skunk Werks. DTR members Mike Holmen and dvst8er with some encouragement from Tate did a bang up job and have a ton of knowledge. Thanks again guys!
