Glad you got it worked out!

YellowZ28,

Don't get mad if he smacks the Big 4-OH number on you later!

I installed my Commander this morning and with just a little test drive with the race mod. set on 60hp, I saw 36 psi. Can't tell you what the 130hp will do, clutch won't hold it.

I have the XZT box on mine and saw 39psi getting on the freeway the other day. At the same time I saw 0psi fuel pressure so I didn't stay in it for long.

Well coming home I nailed it once and saw the same thing as RacenutSB, 39 psi. Sorry I couldn't give you 40 psi.

Does anyone know what pressure the intercooler is rated for. I am talking about the one with plastic end caps. I get worried when I see the boost pressure over 35 psi.

I would have to think that it is supposed to be rated for 32psi at the bare minimum as that is what a stock truck will do. However I know of stock trucks that have popped them?

To the best of my knowledge all the ones I have heard of popping had a load on them. Maybe huge spikes in pressure unseats them. The ones I have seen do know blow up, they unseat from the sides of the intercooler itself causing leaks when under pressure.

So the ends where they are crimped by the aluminum core separate? This is a weak point.
