Commander Software Upgrade?

I have had my Quad Commander a few days, and I have been going to the software update site for about a week. No Joy.
When will the new software be available? Mine has a version from June 2006 in it, even though I just bought it.
Love the zillaraider too.
By the way, the raider now comes with the Digital Control Pod instead of the rotary switch. I'm using the Commander to control my raider though.

We have done a major overhaul to allow for many things to happen in the future. We are working day and night to make this happen this week but, it looks a little bleak at this point. We will have it up and running ASAP and you guys will now immediately I promise!

Just to give you an idea we completely re-wrote the display driver. It now has more fonts, better fonts, faster screen responce to button pushes, menu changes and cursor changes.

We also made room for the turbo timer stuff and the translator stuff as those things are coming along very quickly.

We also fixed a couple of quirks which I cannot remember all of them off my head. I know one was an RPM Off message that got displayed if you set your Inj Press Warning and that warning was reached. This is only on the warnings and only on the Inj Press warning, if you just defuel it was fine? Go figure.

There are a couple of little things like that and we are making sure they are all fixed.

When the update is out you will like the Commander even better!

Hey Quad, is the turbo timer close to being out on the market?

Not on the market but, we are doing some testing and it won't be too long before we do some beta testing.

The timer is easy. Working on things like the safety switch, how to set it, how to turn it off automatically, does it arm automatically or do you hit a button before you turn your key off? Lots of little things we are working through to make it seemless to operate. Sounds easy, ends up being sort of a pain.

I was looking at the screen, an enhancment request would be maybe a light, or a some pixles to display when the Torque Converter is locked. Dunno if you have room in the current wiring harness though.....

As soon as that timer is done I'll be swooping one up. I'm sick of waiting for the EGTs to come down!

I am sort of a never say never guy but, I do not see a TC lock function anytime soon. Of course I have not really looked into it hard and it might be easy? At the present time with my present knowledge I would say if it happens it would be a while down the road. I also only see this happening if you have the fuel pressure kit and you substitute the RPM wire for the TC Lockup wire?? All speculation but, that is my take on it at this exact instance.

Now if you want to know when it locks up I would think you could use a simple idiot light? I am thinking you wire one leg to 12v and the other leg to the TC control line. If I am not mistaken the TC wire gets pulled to ground when it is in lockup. Once again all speculation but, it might be really simple to hook up a dummy light.

We are working on the turbo timer. It might be sooner than later but, it could be later than sooner. Until we get to actual beta testing I like to be non-comital!

I'm getting impatient waiting for the software update to be posted on Quad's site.
If anyone has downloaded it and will send it to me, it would be appreciated. At least I can get it more up to date than last June.
You can find my email in my profile.

Thanks,

Ben
