yesterday and today while driving the truck i noticed this twice. that my water temp would flash over the whole screen a couple of times then go back to the 4 gauge screen set up. the temp flashing was a normal temp-not near my alert temp. any ideas?

 

Check the connection at the wire tap. Sometimes the tap does not really ave a solid connection. On the water temp sensor if it lost signal it would consider itself to be hot.

I am guessing that you are loosing connection for a split second which causes it to think it has a problem. The digital stuff is so fast that it does not miss anything.
