commander pillar mount?

Is anyone else having problems having the pillar mount follow the form of the pillar?
What are you guys doing to make it fit better?

Yep when I had mine in my truck the pillar mount never did fit right. I got it pretty close by taking everything out including the stock a-pillar and putting a plastic push-rivet in to attach the two in the top corner that always rises up. If you paint the rivet to match, it really doesn't look bad at all.

Unfortunately not. I didn't have it in long enough to get pics.

Mine didn't fit quite right up high, but it was fine down close to the dash.

the fit on mine was terrible so i used some small rivets to attach them. they are not that noticeable but it is only a temporary fix. i plan on cutting them up and molding the two together with some fiberglass and bondo in the very near future.

When i had that problem on the bottom end of my pillar, I found a very thin industrial grade velcro sytem that I applied to both the pillar and the dash where it would not quite fit right..

I used a razor knife to trim the edges that were causing it to push out along the bottom and the windshield. Then I doubles sided taped it. I haven't looked back.
