cold weather cover

I have a 03, 2500 HO and I just received my Mopar OEM Dodge Ram Diesel cold waether grill cover # M82208646. I checked under the lid and does this cover go over the intercooler and the trany cooler. There is almost no room to slip it in front of just the rad?

winter grill cover

$132.00 with the shipping. It looks like a nice unit. Can't wait to use it this winter. Snowmobiling in TugHill NY gets real cold. I got it from AutoTruckToys.com. Thanks REDRAM for the photo. Do i need to be concerned with the intercooler or trany cooler while towing. Should I leave a flap open???

I'd leave at least some type of opening. Many fan hub bearings have been ruined in OTR trucks with everything closed up. JMHO.

What weather temps are you guys installing these??????

Seems nice and makes sense but traveling from Minnesota to Wyoming or Montana pulling my 25 foot Haulmark with 5 sleds I can't remember ever really needing one.

for about 4 dollars you can buy reynolds aluminum foil heavy duty, double fold it and slip it in front of your radiator and behind your intercooler trans coolerand get the same results while saving 100 bucks

I have the MOPAR one from the dealer. Love it.

I usually install mine around Thanksgiving and run it until about May. It is made real well and works like a charm.
I leave all 4 flaps open unless the temps are below zero, then I close just two. I found that closing all 4 makes the truck run hot no matter how cold out it is.

Michael Dunne - am gonna try to make it to Tug Hill this winter. Depends on what the snow is like in Vt. Love sledding the VAST trails!

Question Mopar Cold Weather Front

I bought one the other day and installed the unit on my truck 2008 Mega Cab 2500HD, but I do have a question. Where do the three lower hooks fasten to? The driections that Mopar provides are a joke and I could not find any opening for the three fasteners. I was able to install all of the other hooks along with the hook and loop system that is provided. But I could not figure out where the three front hooks go. Any suggestions.

On the lower back side of the front bumper, there are three holes drilled for the hooks. You may have to jerry rig something if those holes are used to secure the wiring harness for the fog lamps...
