Sounds like you put to much oil on. The oil on the filter should have the media completely damp but not wet enough to drip.

 

I have just recently bought some k&n oil spray for my quads filter and was alot thinner than my AFE oil was. This is myirst time using K&N oil but if its all that thin I could see how easy it would be to over oil it.

 

I Probably Used Too Much. Where Did You Get The Oil From Afe?

 

I bought it From NADP up here in Edmonton. I was also told that S&B oil is very simaliar. I know a few guys using it , they have been for a while. I guess its a little easyer to get a hold of. My can is getting low so i just might try S&B my self if I have to.
