07 mega 4x4 with 5.9 (don't laugh but running a bully dog programmer) 35" tire &straight pipe exhaust except had to install a resonator to lower loud pipe sound as it is my business truck & I am in residential neighborhoods most of the time. Thinking about a cold air intake to help with fuel milage, any suggestions?

 

I like my S&B but don't buy one thinking you will get better mileage because that will not happen.

 

kkb is correct, the stock is very hard to beat. get a psm kit for the stock box and get the new 4" deep pleat filter wix 49946 or napa 9946

An aftermarket CAI costs anywhere from $200-300. If you're really lucky, you might gain 1mpg. Maybe. Do the math, and see how long it takes to make that back in fuel savings.

 

Just mod your current one......after markets are a waste of money( IMO ).

 

Agree with the others, do the psm home depot mod to the stock intake and be done with it for $15.
