So, Mr. Madhat....are you going to try the switch?? Let me know how it works out.

I have a SFI fp, billet in....I'm 2wd and was told by several that the stock inner and outer is pretty strong. I can't boost launch so....well I can but tires will just light up.

I know it has been said that the 2005 Dodge CTD CR Trucks have "finicky"
transmissions. I have a 2006 with a fully built "ATS Stage VI" Tranny and I also have the "ATS Co-Pilot" and I have nver had ANY problems with mine at all. All of my wires are all hooked up too. Maybe I am just lucky.........

Yeah, when I get back to the states in July...

Yeah, with a 2wd, the output does not have as much strain on it, from what I understand.

We were having an issue with ours being lazy, light would come on with no effect until we let off the throttle. ATS ended up giving us a new co-pilot with some instructions. If you leave the MAP sensor wire intact, it will lock based on boost, which was nice, but didn't like the way it drove. It would lock-up on decell, and unlock on accel if boost was too low. If you cut the orange wire, or whichever wire is going into the map sensor, you can lock-up based on speed. No issues on decell, so we went with this route. You could install a switch to make it your choice.

I'm going to have to try that. Just cut the wire? I remember the manual saying that the low speed being 15 mph or so, that would be great.

It works PERFECT since I cut my wire, just put butt connect on without bareing/strip wire. It doesn't act like it wants to break anything now.
