Scroll down the page for '94-'95 instructions> http://www.tstproducts.com/Torque%20...p%20Switch.pdf
Make sure to use the org/blk wire from pin 54. If I'm not mistaken there are two org/blk wires, the wrong one equals big trouble.

tanks for the help guys. hey just another question about this subject, once this switch is installed does the converter only lock up when the circuit is complete?

and when the switch is not on(qued to lock converter) will the transmission behave as stock? (lock converter in 3rd and overdrive?).

Tranny will behave like stock with the switch installed or not. PCM sends short to TCC solenoid to lock it, automatically, based on several inputs. Your switch sends short too TCC solenoid to lock it, manually, on demand.

It is NOT a short it completes the circuit path to ground. The solenoid has always got power to it when the truck is running. The m-switch or the computer provide the switch or ground to complete the circuit to turn it on at the proper time.

A short would be when a normally complete circuit was interrupted some where or short circuited.

Right on, thanks for the clarification. That makes total sense...as you can see I'm no electrician!

While on the topic I tend to leave my switch on when I park the truck instead of arming the noisy alarm. Thief would just get the truck into the middle of the street before it would die on them!

Or the violent shaking of it would scare the heck out of them and they would bail out.

I don't think the first gens got a locking t/c did they?

If they did, you should be able to lock it.
