Looks like Ryan promises to warranty the product. LOL I know the game he is playing. He will send a warranty claim for "a" smarty that was purchased through an authorized dealer to get the bad one warrantied. Its Fraud and easy to prove. LOL Also could be a felony if he does it multiple times.

 

Is warranty a big issue Don? I mean, really, what kind of a percentage have issues? I've been here for awhile, and never heard of one needing sent back in for any reasons. I'm not approving what he is doing, or how he's trying to get around your policies or anything, just wondering why warranty is the issue?

 

Warranty needs seem to be rare. Its not MY policy. I dont make the rules for the Smarty, the Quad, Edge or any parts that have a MAP (minimum advertised price ) policy.

 

The main thing is that he is not playing by the rules set forth by Marco and Bob. Just like Edge, MSD, Superchips. There is a set price and get caught selling under and you lose your dealership for that company.

 

the guy is a first class punk and is only trying to profit our hard work. He iwill be outta business very soon.

There are jerks and rip offs everywhere.

I wasn't considering buying one from them. I would only buy from DTR. I just thought I would bring it to someone's attention. He is also trying to sell them on E-Bay. Don M how did you get all of that info so quick??? Pete

 

that's the same guy that was selling them on ebay for cheap too...I know cause when I called Bob about becoming a dealer he was telling me about the guy in St. George, Utah....I think Bob might have thought it was me at first!!!...LOL
