on the way back to work from lunch my check engine light came on and squacked at me. Then engine had a louder than normal rattle and not very much power but never tried to die or anything. When I got to work and cycled the key, all I saw was -------- then the word done. No code of any kind. Any ideas? I've started the truck several times and all is good with that. could it just be the high heat we're having down here or something else? Thanks in advance.

 

Sometimes mine does that. If it doesn`t throw a code & runs fine I wouldn`t worry about it. If it stays on or the truck run different I`d get it checked.
