check engine light came on

my check engine light came on after in stalling the edge with att. i didn't install the egt prob would that do it? what could cause this and how do i get the light to go off and find the codes?

Turn the key from off to on 4 times, ending in the on position. The code or codes will read in the odometer screen. Click here to a link for the code descriptions.

just take it to your dealer and tell them what you did they'll fix it under warranty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The attitude has a code check function. You can also clear the codes with the attitude. Chances are you did not get one of the connectors snapped all the way in.
