I brought up the OD Lockout feature back when TNT was released and I still think it would be a great idea!

I'd prolly even pay extra to have that ability!

I just don't like the way the BD unit works. Too many button pushes under too many variables... Truck moving, not moving, in overdrive already, not in overdrive already.... Just sucks!

Keep us posted Bob... This would really be awesome!

Pricy is right and I really don't want more electronics hanging around my dash. I'd much rather spend money on a Smarty Jr. firmware upgrade if necessary. I'll be waiting anxiously for Marco's response. Thanks Bob

Bob, Have you had a chance to talk with Marco about this issue yet? I installed a DTT shift enhancer then loaded Smarty level 2 and went to Dodge last week to have the OD lockout parameter turned on and he couldn't do it because his programer didn't recognize the program in the ECU???? Not sure if this is a Smarty Jr. issue or because I left my Quad box installed. I might remove the quad and try it again but it would be much better if I could change parameters with the Smarty.

Ability to change these parameters alone would probably sell even more Smarties!
If I could ever get things back in order I will be getting a Smarty for sure. This would be just one more reason to do it

I'm assuming that since current Smarty flash defaults the OD parameter to factory setting in the 05's only, it is not cost effective and probably a low priority to upgrade the Smarty to fix this issue. I don't want to tow my 5th wheel without OD lockout so right now my only option is to buy the BD OD unit made for the 05. Still would be nice if someone would build a prograqmmer that allows one to view and change parameter options.
