CFM + Intake

It this modification worth the $$.
Can you tell the performance gain or MPG gain?

Id look at Hellmann or GDP, does the same thing, their cheaper, and made of metal not CF.

I love mine, spools the turbo from a dead stop faster than anything else out there! Proven on the Dyno. Well worth the money, in my opinion, and everybody's got one...

I really like mine and would buy another one. Turbo spools much faster, throttle response is much better, and I saw a slight decrease in EGTs.

I've had mine for well over a year now. It has seen close to 50psi with no problems, and I did notice better low end spoolup and better egts when cooling down and cruising. IMO yes it is worth the money.

X2 on the CFM. No milage gain but increase spool up for sure.

Here is a photo of the Hellman. I guess it is comperable, the hole can only be so big with the given bolt pattern. I friction factor will vary depending on the smoothness. Somewhere I saw some test results comparing the different intakes, does anyone know where I can find the test results?

They are the ones that did the test. Are you sure that is

I think bob4x4 did a test comparison of all the popluar ones, ill see if I can dig it up...

My cfm + has seen 85psi and no problems at all. They really help on the bottom end.

hmm thanks for the link!! thats a very interesting read....those flow numbers are great info!!
I can only assume the GDP must have been worse then stock or close since they would NOT post flow results for it????

According to the Tri-Valley intake horn test, they later tested a GDP horn after they did the other and the gains were competing wiht the CFM+.

was that a dyno test or a flow test??? to me a bench flow test would be more accurate then a dyno test???

the link above was for flow testing not dyno testing.....
It was a dyno test. It seems to me that there would be some kind of correation between to two.
