CB placement on 6 spd??

I am wanting to put a cb in my truck. I have a 07 6spd 4x4 and I can't find any place to put one.. I used to have one in the hole under the radio, but it looks better without the cb there...any ideas??

What did you guys do to mount it to the plastic so it would not break out? I'm assuming its pretty thin but i could be wrong, haven't had any of the interior apart in my truck

Pretty old school and mediocre but it works fine and doesnt mess up your line of sight any more than the steering wheel, (adjust accordingly for individual height)

thats where i mounted mine. i built a little bracket to raise it up so i could reach it easier w/out having to lean over a lot. and i alos angled is towards the back some too so that i could put it farther to the dash to give room for the passenger seat to slide forward some. but i'm happy so far.

I did mine like Rick D. I mounted mine into the metal floorboard and run my wires thru the floor

On my 04 6speed I mounted mine inside the armrest. Of course the radio was a cheap, small and skinny kind. but it worked great for me. Close the armrest and you would never know I had a radio in there.

I mounted mine on the drivers side of the 4x4 shifter. It's not in the way at all and definitely right at hand!
