Carli Install
Carli Install
I had a Carli Starter system installed on my dually on Friday. I've spent the last year researching this, read all the comparisons between Lorenz/Carli/Kore, came to the opinion that they're all pretty good systems and it boiled down to price and customer service. I just moved to Southern California and for various reasons narrowed it down to the Kore Recon and Carli Starter. I kept hearing lots of good things about Sage Carli and what he had been doing, so I gave Defiant a call and talked to Paul Fox. What really sealed the deal was their installation price. Not only did I get the confidence of having the system installed by Sage and his crew, but the price for the installation was no-brainer low.
I made the trip up to the Defiant shop in Orange on Friday, and hung around while they did the work. Sage, Paul, and their employees are a great bunch of people, all of them are enthusiastic in their work and you could see the pride Sage has in his products, he kept opening boxes and explaining all the engineering details. He took me for a nice 15 minute ride in Paul's beautiful 06 2500, I think it has everything Defiant sells on it. The truck is just swallowing up whatever he was throwing at it, the ride is so deceptively smooth that you forget you're in a 3/4 ton diesel pickup.
After my truck was done, they drove it out of the shop and Sage was grinning from ear to ear looking at it. I could tell this guy just loves what he does. The truck sat perfect, and nothing is better than stuff that combines function and form. Freeway expansion joints that used to create a bone jarring oscillation are barely noticable. Even with the starter system, so far the truck just seems planted. Can't wait to load up the dirt bikes and head to the desert. Picture in my gallery pending approval.
