Can I put 33X12.50R17LT size tires on a stock rim?

BFG now makes a 285/75/16(33x11.5) E rated AT KO rated at 3700 lbs. The D rated 285/75/16 is rated at 3300 lbs. They also have a 305/70/16 At KO rated at 2900lbs. The 305 size is equal to 33x12.5. This is off the BFG PDF spec sheet on their web site. I think the BFG AT KO is a much better tire than the Goodyear AT/S. If I had to buy Goodyear, my choice would be the MT/R.

I'm running Pro Comp's 33x12.5x17's on my '04, and have near 6000miles (10,000kms) on them. There is no cupping, because I'm rotating them every 5000kms just to be on the safe side. Up here all we drive on is chipseal, so it eats tires alive. Anyone know of any harder compound M/T's?
