no, at 70K, I dont think you need to change the tappets

just my opinion

 

Don't forget the HD springs. Gotta have them. It's a very good combo Don has put together.

 

PDR told me that new tappets were required after about 40k miles. In older (pre CR) trucks, you would change the tappets no matter what when you did a cam, but the new CR tappets are much harder and show much less wear so you can get away with using the original tappets until a certain point.

 

OT, I have the springs already (if you were talking to me).

 

Not you D. If it were you I figure you'd have two sets or more on there. It was just a general comment to any who may be contemplating a cam mod.
