Calling all who run 20x10 wheels with 35" tires

Wanting to know if my 20x10 eagle 114s with 2" spacers up front will clear with 35x12.50x20s? Wanted to know who all had this setup or if anyone does and if so what they had to do to get it to work. thanks guys

All comes down to backspacing and the offset of the wheel. I was running MKW's 20" with the Toyo 35's but then switched to KMC's 20" with the same tire and was forced to do a little "customizing" to get them to fit without any rubbing. I would call a local tire shop (Les Schwab) and give them the specs on the wheels, they should know what lift your going to need and what tire you can run without problems.

20 x 10 w/how much back space?
I also found that the profile of tire will effect your fit. If you have a very square/luggy tire, rubbing will be more of an issue

I have 37's on 20x10 with 4.5" backspacing. I just took the 40" tires off with still no rubbing issues. same wheel.

the backspacing is like 4.58" or something like that, close to 4 1/2" any ways.

ridiculies how wide were your 20's you said you had to do a little customizing to make things work? also did you have your 4" lift then or just 2" spacers?

I know I only have 20x9's, but I had to choose the +10mm offset-rather than the +25.
My backspace is 4.89" and I only have 3/8" clearance with the body at full lock. i don't believe that you are going to be able to fit a 20 x 10 with only a little less backspace and a 2" spacer kit.

Its not the dia of the tire thats getting you-its the 10" width. Try a 9 & you'll fit just fine without any mods.

When I ordered my rims-they accidentally put on the +25 offset ones-which rubbed really bad. So I know that 15mm doesn't seem llike much, but it is.

OldBlu, both rims were 20x10 but the backspacing and offset on the second pair was different which caused me to "customize". I had my 4 1/2" lift before I put on either set of wheels. The Toyo Mt's have quite a lot of side wall tread which also causes more trouble when trying to fit, if your stuck on the 20x10 wheels you might have to lift the truck a little more. I'm going to see if I can run the pro comp xtremes MT when when Toyo's pack it in, they make a 37" tire which is only 12.50 wide compaired to Toyo's which are 37x13.50 wide.

thanks for the advice and help guys. Guess i'm gonna have to go with a smaller tire. I'm stuck with the wheels unless someone wants to trade me my 20x10s for their 20x9 but i dought that. Lifting it more would work except i pull a gooseneck trailer a bunch and some spots are pretty rough and i'm suprised i havent bashed my bedsides already there is no way a 4" lift would work for were i pull a trailer.

I agree, a lot of it depends on how much lift you have. With mine it seems like I need more tire so I'm moving up to 37". You might want to try craigslist, I traded someone wheels, they had black and I wanted to get rid of my chrome ones, we both ended up with what we wanted for nothing.
