Will I be legal with a turboback exhaust or do I have to settle with a catback?

 

So far we don't have to smog our pickups here. But who knows how long that'll last...

 

Well, what year is your truck? Anything 04.5 and newer comes with a cat and must have it, Legally. I have been stopped a couple of times by Commercial traffic enforcment and they peeked under the truck. I have a turbo back and they were fine with it as long as the muffler was there.

 

It's a 2003, so I should be good then?

 

Yeah, if there is not a carb number on the sticker on the side of the plastic cover on the engine you are okay. Plus with yours being an '03 you are alright.
