Had the KO1 ECM update done last week. After, Smarty wouldn't load.

Here's how I updated the Smarty (took about 1.5 hours):
1. MADS site, download USB drivers and unzip it.
2. MADS site, download the update for your Smarty.
3. Google 7-zip. Go to the site and download their unzipping file.
4. Use 7-zip program to unzip the Smarty update you got in step 2.
5. Use the USB driver to load the unzipped Smarty update to your Smarty (you will need a cable with a USB on one end and the little fitting on your Smarty to do this).

Had to tow the 5er w/o my Smarty...yuck! On the flats, EGTs were about 200 hotter than on SW5. Didn't do any hills so no idea but expect they would have been much higher.

I haven't noticed anything unusual after the KO1 update. Hopefully this is helpful for anyone that has to fork out the bucks for this sillly
