Bushwacker Extend-a-Fender

I just purchased a set of Bushwacker Extend-a-Fender fender flares to protect the sides of my Ram 2500. After putting on a set of 305/55-20s with a positive offset to clear everything, I need to stop the mud and water from coating the sides of the truck.

In the instructions, it states that I first must remove the big "C" Turbo Diesel badge from the front fender. I assume it is glued on, so how do I get in off? Has anyone done that before? And doesn't it leave a mark on the fender?

Do a search on debadging for alot of ideas. I used fishing line to remove the badge and then an eraser for the remaining stuff.

I used fishing line and a hair dryer to saw it off, then bought some 3M adhesive remover and drenched the glue with that and it pretty much slid off.

Before you start ripping your CUmmins badges off, are you sure you have to? I think that instruction applies to `05 and earlier trucks - on the `06 the badge is not in the way.

X2 don't think there is a need. My badge is still on and I have the same flares and a 06.

If you don't fish dental floss works also. Don't get in a hurry! That is if you have to remove it.

All you guy are right................................as I looked the job over, I could see that the badge was not in the way!! I held the flare up to see the fit and sure enough, the badge clears. THAT'S WHAT I GET FOR READING THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST!!
