bullydog customer service slacking

i called up bullydog today and brought my problem to their attention. the first guy told me he was unsure of what to do and just try resetting to stock, so i hung up and called back for a different person. the new guy i got ahold of asked my problem and i told him "when i got in my truck the pmt flashed as though it reset itself so i checked in my system settings and found my vehicle info is correct but my application is labeled as 06-07 duramax. He said easy enough just return to stock, BUT when i told him i cannot return to stock unless i agree to it being loaded on an 06-07 duramax he than got suddenly stumped. told me to change vehicles which you cant do without returning to stock. he told me well try this just agree to it being loaded ona duramax and see what happens. i asked about warranty or what happens if it fries my ecm and he just told me we will cross that bridge when we get to it. so i asked if the call was recorded he said no need to my word is good. i dunno what to do now i asked for bud kunz but guess he is in idaho. Try Steven at Bullydog 866-285-5936. My need remove whole sys and send in for diagnostic test. My pyro quit working and they sent me a new pch cable and that didn't work. Next step is to remove and send back for test.

Buddy has been super busy and I myself haven't talke to him in a long time I have had a couple of different issues in the past few weeks and have even tried his cell phone numerous times and numerous messages to office and cell no return call. If I may ask who were you talking with at the texas branch? Was it andrew? Gary? Andrew is the only one at the Texas branch that has enough knowhow to fix any issues the rest are just telemarketers answering the phone and b/sing their way through your problem with their how to manuals. Gary is one of those imo and has ended up making several problems worse in the past for me. Andrew(Texas), Jason(Idaho), and Buddy have been the only 3 bullydog tech/engineers that have ever been of help to me and the only ones their I will trust to walk me through any problems.

FWIW, BD had me send my ECM in a few years ago, and they were able to fix it. be POSITIVE you send in your VIN for the reflash.

their front line of phone help is minimum wage/minimum knowledge.

once you penetrate that front line, though, they know their ability to solve problems posted on forums like this affects their ability to feed their kids


and they will take care of you

i have had nothing but awesome luck with Bud he's not slacking by anymeans but definatly that front line you talk to really had no knowledge. i had to explain some stuff about the pmt to the guys i talked to. also no gauges work just pyro. but ill have to give those guys a call that you all have told me about.
