on an 06 i have the bdpp and its saying vin not found and the truck wont start,i was downloading to 90 hp and everything took,it just wont start

There should be a recover mode but you will probably have to wait until you can get in touch with the tech guys at Bullydog. They do this pretty often and they will have you punch a special code in it and you will recover stock and then redo it.

Several people on here have had issues like this and I think they got them resolved after some discussion with the tech department, hopefully they will chime in.

I just did not want you to loose all hope and call for roadside assistance......yet!

this isn't my first time. the first time i unpluged the batt. and waited then hooked'em back up and it started...but i don't know....now i've set mine back to stock and tryed to put it on my buddies truck and it said vin not recegnized and won't load...i don't know

i've had mine on 3 other trucks....no problem. It DID say vin mismatch once when i plugged it in with the ignition ON without the motor running.....i unplugged it, turned ignition OFF and plugged it back in....no problems....

Just be very careful to load everything completely and turn all radio and AC off with the ignition off when you first plug it in......
