bully dog?
I am new to the diesel world, and I have the outlook monitor and power pup setup. This is on an 06 dodge drw. Does anyone know which is the best setting for better mpg? The performance gains are very good I feel, but I was wondering if anyone has gotten better fuel economy.BTW,,,,I dont have an exhaust system as yet or a CAI. (diesel performance comparison6/20). At that time I will make a choice. Thanks for any input.

Have not tried the towing or stock setting, just performance (90HP) and Extreme (130HP) and the performance got slightly better fuel economy then the 130. However, I did get better fuel economy with NO box, becasue the right foot has become heavier with the addition of the BD

I was told that tow/haul would be the best for mileage. I run on this setting 90% of the time and really only bump up on the highway for quick passing or the odd romp to clean out the exhaust.

i have mine on the tow setting right now to see the difference in Performance MPG and tow mode MPG. in the city my mileage is certainly better. reason being, smoke. On the highway i am about equal in MPG on both settings. once the soot starts flying, mileage goes down.
