built tranny issues

well i broke it again put it in drive and it starts in 2nd and feels like it wants to engage in reverse(no codes). times like this make me wish it was stock.this is the reason i built it in the first place,so i wouldnt have to worry about it breaking
not sure what broke but i will know tomorrow when i get it out tomorrow.
droped pan yester day and fluid was dark but no major chunks of clutch or metal. changed gov pressure sensor and transducer and that did'nt help.

if it's a broken hard part thats fine but if i find smoked clutchs/bands what can hold 500hp??

not brand bashing so i wont use names
the tranny has
billet input/output shafts
3 disk converter
worked valve body
dd pan
extream rebuild kit

A worked VB means what?
Was the pressure raised? ( I hope so).
What was done for the computer to NOT sense the pressure was upped?

i would understand but up untill 2 weeks ago the truck only had a smarty/tst stack with intake and exhaust that dynoed 377/777 . i just added the sticks and turbo. never hooked to a tailer or sled so i would'nt think i work it to hard.

my 2nd gen smoked clutches but i was told by the tranny shop they got a bad batch of clutches(they warrantied them). what brand of clutchs do each tranny shop use suncoast, dtt, goerend

i built it as i have built transmissions for customers trucks and had no issues.
i checked all clearances and air checked befor it left the bench. It's the first time i've had issues with this truck. But as i stated above my 2nd gen had a issue with the foward clutch pack.

The good steels are usually Kolenes and the Frictions can be from anyone of the companys that make all auto tranny clutches....I used Raybestos Special Blues but alot use Red Alto....or others...Because they are so thin....you can only add a couple more to get more holding force...but they are essentially the same frictions as in all vehicles....so holding modded diesel torque is a problem....HP is not the problem. torque is the issue as i just got home from work and i welded the forward clutchs together again i used the red alto clutchs and i think im gunna try a different rote this time.

If you have done the same thing more than once, get another case. There is a good chance that case has an internal leak somewhere that is not allowing the pressure to hold, or, there is not enough line pressure to hold. What did the direct clutches look like?

welded together, everything else was mint. dont think its a case issue as this is the same issue i had with my last truck. leaning more twords a defect in aftermarket parts,as this same company warrantied parts last time and said they had the same issue with some of their units.

Setup could definitely be the problem. I hav eheard of 2 cases with this same problem though. Could not get the directs to hold until the case was changed. Straight parts swap and the problems disappeared. Something to keep in mind if everything else checks out.
