borgeson 950 model problem/update

purchased this shaft after confirming with the retailer i bought it from and borgeson that the 950 model fit the 03-06 dodge ram diesel 2500/3500 trucks. both said yes- received the shaft last friday- did not fit!! shaft was 5 inches too short and the u-joint end with the splines was too small to fit over the splines on the steering box. ordered another one from another retailer. arrived today- this one is 2 inches too short!! same problems with the splines too! the gentleman i bought this one from actually went down to the dodge dealership tonight and crawled under a couple of trucks. he called me back and said the problem is- the 950 model is for the gas trucks! not the diesels!!! both shafts were 950 models- first one extended was 30 inches, the second 950 shaft i got measured 33 inches extended!! i called borgeson on monday about the first shaft and he told me it was labeled wrong and that it happens time to time. the retailer i bought the second one from is calling borgeson tomorrow. hopefully tomorrow i can get squared away! i hope i do not have to buy a factory steering shaft-because the oem one stinks!
