That is exactly where my boost bolt is mounted as well.... FWIW

I'm not sure either. That location is where the TPS used to be prior to 2003.5 on manuals and 2005 on autos.

The LP was attached to the fuel filter housing, I don't think that is what the hole was for.

The empty bolt hole is for a ground going to the grid heater on the 04 at least. I am trying to put a picture in my gallery from the service manual.

the TPS was mounted to the bolts forward of the plate My '03 doesn't have that hole that I am aware of.
