I successfully installed my Westach combination gauge over the weekend and it's been fun watching the boost needle move while racing around town. Almost too much fun. What will I do when I put a real bomb on? I haven't had a chance to tow or mess with the EGT yet and see what the temperatures do.

The installation went smoother than expected. I used the exhaust plug trick while drilling for the EGT sender and a boost bolt in the manifold. I also tapped the cigarette lighter for main power and the dimmer switch for the guage light.

I've now laid the foundation, let the bombing begin. GAME ON!

 

Did the boost bolt in the manifold come with the westech? I have that guage on the way and I will be installing myself this coming weekend.

 

I was going to warn you guys that guages wreck your mileage.

 

I ordered my guage from Geno's and they included the boost bolt. I'd highly recommend ordering one if it doesn't come with the guage.
