boost fooler problem

Hey guys,
I just installed a Zilla boost fooler that I got from II with my new turbo for my twin set up. Well now I have now power cant get more than 10lbs of boost and absolutely no smoke. Is there anyway i could have installed it wrong I mean come on I unplugged the map sensor and plugged the plug it into the zilla socket then plugged the zilla plug int the map sensor. Pretty simple. Removed it truck runs great plug it back in gutless!!! So did I do something wrong or did I just get ANOTHER DISAPPOINTING JUNK QUADZILLA product???

Dang Man! And he's supposed to want to help you now?!?!?! Lighten up a bit...

For the record, I recall many times reading this same post from others who swore they had it installed correctly and later on realized that they, in fact, had done it wrong. Not saying this is your situation, just stating what I have read....

Good luck

If you want to do it that way sure, we can do that?

Or we can try to figure out why it doesn't have power and if the MAP sensor is fine we will send a new one out?

Either way is good for me.

Hey guys,
Well not trying to start trouble on this forum! I think if you read some of my past over 1000 posts you will clearly see that I only ask questions or add info that I think is relevant. I don't mean to come down on Quadzilla unfairly but lets face it they have put ALOT of junk out there and we all know it. If I would have realized that the boost fooler that I ordered was a Quadzilla product I would have never ordered it. By the way zilla I'm still waiting for the new harness for the scout that I never got... Your company is a joke and your service is as poor as I have ever seen. By the way the boost fooler is in the trash(as it should be)I wont be needing a replacement. Opps didn't mean to treat Quadzilla unfairly... Oh ya I'm not! Ok I'm done.

the boost fooler is one of the best mods i have done to my truck.i have bought several quad products and have had good luck with them until recently. now keep in mind i have had the 65 hp towing chip for about two years. well the other day it started acting up so i pulled the chip and left the wiring harness on the truck. all seemed fine until the other day when it started running ruff and throwing rail pressure codes. so i get ready to change out the pressure relief valve and rail pressure sensor.at the last second i decided the just pull the harness for the chip. i did that and started the truck and all was fine. i could say that quads products are bad . but i got plenty of use out of the chip. i ordered a new wiring harness so i can get even more use out of the chip.

Boy I feel like a fool, I have been running the quad tow box since my 06 truck was 2 months old, got better towing power better mileage for 5 years now, and when I bought it the price was just way to reasonable. my face is red.

Before you order the new wiring harness you might be able to do a quick fix on your harness unless you are seeing that something went way bad on it?

The Bosch pins have a tendency to move around in the connector sockets and open them up a little over time. The fix is to take the flat spade like pins and slightly tweak or twist them so they still go into the connector socket but, its a tight fit.

You can do it in about 30 seconds and it will probably cure all of your issues.

I just put a boost fooler in with the edge juice w/ attitude. Before i hooked the boost fooler up, the attitude was hooked into my map sensor and it read my boost, after the boost fooler, the most it has read is around 10psi. Boost fooler not a good idea with the edge?
