guys have told me anything over 28lbs on a stock turbo is a waste.something about it just raising egts and its just hot air going through the turbo,hopefully this makes since.i curently have my wastegate disconnected and am reaching 44lbs on stock turbo,but my egts are through the roof,just trying to lower the egts

 

Get a new turbo. There alot to choose from. Well hold on what are your egt?

 

A bigger turbo would fix the egt problem.

 

i know a bigger turbo will do it but its not in the budget right now iam saving for a tranny.egts i can it 1400 pretty easy.i guess my biggest question is are there any performance gains with a stock to unhook the wastegate,it felt like i had a little more top end?
