How do they light up the road now with most of the reflective / chrome painted?

 

I'll try to get some pics tomorrow in the night time for you. I don't think there's much of a difference in how well they light up the road, because the only reflective part that you paint are for the parking lights/turn signals. I'd like to see the pics of the white truck with the black headlights whoever said they're going to do that.

 

i want to do it but i would really like to see a pic first

I've got to find an 06 donor light to try this. I think it will look awesome in Khaki.

 

I got a set of night runner head lights I am willing to part with only used 2 weeks

 

Why? Why now, this always happens when im broke.

ok so i finally started this got everything apart and tryed to paint them but the paint won't stick to the chrome what are u guys using . and what kind of paint should i use

 

you have to use paint promoter first

 

They do make some black projectors head lights for the 06-o7 dodges.i thinking bout getting ther chrome.

So for the 03-05s we need RTV, promoter, gloss paint, and clear coat. Is that it?

I am gonna try and debadge mine this weekend and I may go ahead and do my lights too. I really need to get some pics of my truck on here but I got some more stuff I want to do like darker tint and new tires.

 

i didn't even need rtv i just heated them back up and pushed them together

but i did try to tape the turn signal off but the tape was taking off little chips of chrome so i had to paint everything

 

I don't think the 03-05 trucks need RTV...but the 06+ DO!! the glue is different on the 06+ it wont melt so it is a MUST to use RTV or you WILL have leaking lights.
