I was thinking of making some custom valve covers for a 24V . I found polished stock covers but no after market. It seems the stock covers leak so why use them.
If anyone has any interest or comments let me know.

I have read a few posts of leaking valve covers.
Is this a small problem?
Are there any other parts that may need to be made for 3rd gens?
Work slows down in January so I was just thinking of something to do? The more complex the better.

Check with Jason of Northwest Customs.
He has made billet valve covers for both the 12 and 24 valve crowd.
Here is a link to his truck showcasing some of his work.

Billet valve covers for a third gen would be great if the price is reasonable. Apparently there Cummins make some for the ISBe (HPCR Cummins) but they have a different breather set up? So, we'd have to get something aftermarket.

What are the rough dimensions of the valve cover?
What does the inside of the valve cover look like?
I should be able to come up with a rough price.
I would like to make 10-20 at a time.

Are we talking about the plastic cover or an actual valve cover for the 3rd gens?
If it's a plastic cover replacement i'd deffinetly be interested. The emblems on there can only take so much pressure washing, mine already looks like crap...
