Big Problems
Hey guys been awhile since i posted, posting this for a few of my friends both have stock 05 2500 6spds truck 1 has a smarty jr and let truck 2 barrow it put the smarty in the truck and it idles ruff with lots of blue smoke cleared up once off idle and it also has alot of pressure in the crank case but runs good so he took the smarty out and gave it back still did it once the smarty was out and all back to stock with 115000 miles.
Truck 2 reloaded the smarty in his truck and now he has the same problems and lost a gallon of oil in 230 miles. anyone have any ideas what could be the problem?
both trucks ran great before the smarty was loaded and now have the same problems
Thanks for any help
Dennis

Hey brother,
Not an authority here...but my 1st suggestions would be to have your buddy (original Smarty owner) take his truck back to stock with the Smarty. Update his Smarty to the latest version and reload it into his truck: http://www.madselectronics.com/DownloadSJ6.html
If this doesn't solve anything, I would simply have him contact Bob Wagner (Smarty) for additional support:

Again, there may be others on here with something they can do that I am clearly not aware of. But this is a perfect example of why I will never "share" mine with another truck (just seen too many goofy cases like this...).
Hope this helps and I certainly hope your boys get there trucks back in order.
Let us know if they find a solutionand what the issue was if and when it gets fixed.
Good luck!
