Big Cooler

Are Larger intercoolers worth it on mildly modded trucks. I have an 03 ho with quad race sps62-80 4' ex afe intake and soon to be either flux injectors or smarty, leaning to injectors. Banks has aa big sale on hard parts and I could sell my factory and big banks intake and recoup at least half the cost. No Banks bashing please. This is a daily driver no sled pull, no drag race, no dyno, just looking for that "perfect" driver combo!

When I am able to afford a clutch, I will install my superchips & keep it on performance mode. I did not run gauges with this set up on my last truck, but I will on this one. If it runs warm (EGT), I think I will save up & invest in the BD cooler.

A turbo will do more for you than an intercooler, besides cooling better a turbo will give ya more power and boost too.

I have very big stupid injectors and these are one of my favorite mods you would like them. Also cooler is always better no matter what especially if your truck is something you want to keep for a long time.

On that truck it probly wouldnt be worth it, I think their are better things you can spend the money on. But then again the 03-05 intercooler is the one with all the plastic right?

Oh, didnt notice that the first time I read it. I am sure it would help but I dont if the cost would be worth the benefit.

Nope, '05s only...

Went back to metal tank ends on the 06 after they realized the stupid mistake on the '05s, if it wasnt such a hassle to have the downtime and the truck at the dealer, id pop mine right now to get it changed out...
