BHAF + torque tube finally done

I got around to completing my intake project today. I've only driven around the block but the amount of noise over stock is drastic.

Exhaust work will be next.

I used the following hardware and copied others work I'd seen here and the filter is touching nothing but the clamp.

2 rubber 90's
1 aluminzed 90
a bit of 4 inch aluminized tubing
a bhaf from fleetfilter.com w/outerwears
some 4in t-bolt clamps
1 10.5 t-bolt clamp
1 bracket I had lying around/w bolts

Looks GOOD!

I just got done with mine on my 2nd gen about 2 weeks ago and I have been thinking of a way to build a "torque tube" recently. Where did you pick up your rubber elbows from? Oh and clean install.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The one tough item for me to source was the 10.5 in. t-bolt clamp. I had trouble finding any that big because I was searching truck related resources. Eventually I wisened up and searched marine resources. You'll find plenty to buy online if you look at marine applications instead.

Yes, I used a 4" pvc elbow and a piece of 4" pipe to connect the filter to the snorkel.
Cheers

I don't have an exact length but its probably around 8-10 inches or so. I'm not sure how much I spent but it was about $70 for the filter/outerwears, and probably around $100 in the elbows and clamps.

Does your set up allow for the hood to close properly? I damaged the insulation in mine from the rubbing. Very nice job.
