BF Goodrich 37x12.5x17
BF Goodrich 37x12.5x17
Anybody out there managed to stuff a set of BFG 37x12.5x17's in the wheel wells of a 2500 or 3500 with or without a leveling kit, stock wheels or not. I like the 315 size but only available in a black wall.
37's is a big tire. You know, 315s measure 33 inches exactly...33 & 3/4 inches mounted at 50psi. If you like the look and size of the 315s, I'm sure you could find a good looking 33x12.5x17 somewhere...and they would fit just fine, even the spare. I'm sure others with bigger tires will chime in and tell ya how big you can go without fit issues.
I got mine leveled and stuck 35-12.50-17 bfg mud tires on mine. I don't think you can do 37s without a leveling kit. These tires do have white wall if you want. I don't think I've seen bfgs without a whitewall. You can get the from the tire rack for about 200 a pop.
I also recommend you go mud tire instead of all terrain. The all terrain can't handle the torque as well as the mud. The all terrain tires are the worst at collecting rocks and throwing them at your truck for miles after you leave a gravel road. Also I noticed on my last truck that I got a lot more miles on the mud over the a/t.
