37x12.5x17 and PICS??

Anyone have any advice to offer in going from a stock '06 megacab 4x4 with G56 to running 37x12.5x17 BFG AT KO. What is the minimum on parts that will have to be purchased? Plan on running H2 wheels.

Id just level it out, get some nice shocks and call it done, or get a nice 3" lift if you have the money, either Thuren or Carli get my vote...

Heres my 4" lift, with 37x12.50 Pro Comps, only rub I had was on the control arms at full lock, but with the H2 wheels you shouldnt have any rubbing...

I run 37" on mine with only a leveling kit and bilstiens all around. Only rubs the arms at full lock. I have heard of folks running that size with out a leveling kit, but not too many. I have a couple pics in my gallery.

Stacked97, that is a nice machine you have there!

Goose.....do you get off road much? Any contact if you are offroad under articulation? Do you think running H2's would have a better or worse effect since it appears youar e running stock wheels?

Your truck is similar to mine. You might get a little rubbing on certain wheels with no lift. I have a Goodyear Wrangler GS-A 37X12.50X17 on mine on stock wheels and no lift. It only rubs on the control arms at full lock. Here is a pic of my dirty truck on the rollers at May Madness 08.

Pro-NRA.....wow those look stuffed in there. So if you could do it over again, would you get the 37" again or go with 35" or something? Did you take a huge hit on MPG?

I am running 37" BFG KM2's on stock wheels and 2" leveling kit. It rubs on the control arms at full lock and seems to do it worse in reverse. I can live with a little rubbing. Pics in gallery.

Like the idea of a 37" but reallly seems like it is a tough fit without going to a 4"+ lift. Was hoping it would just be some shocks and could go ahead.

No rubbing. Although I haven't done much off roading. Just some light stuff to go to hunting/camping spots

Yeah it's stuffed with no lift but I like the look since the OEM tires looked out of place with all the spaces around it. I would still get a 37" for the looks and to drop the RPM on the older G56 ratios. No penalty on the MPG maybe because of the drop in RPM at highway speed made up for any rolling resistance with the 37". At 60 (my cruising speed) my RPM is right at 1,700 RPM. My last long trip I've made from Sacramento to LA and back it netted 22.25 MPG hand calculated. I made the trip without refueling totaling 808.4 using only 36.34 gallons (OEM tank w/vent mod) of #2.

Pro NRA.....now thats what I like to hear!!! Kinda debating this set up with an 18" wheel and a toyo open country AT in a 285/75/18 which is a true 35"x11.5" versus what we are talking about.
