Beta 4.4

Hey all. I just got done downloading the beta 4.4 that Bob sent me, & I'm stoaked. What can I expect to be different from the 4.11 aftermarket turbo/stock inj program I was running?

4.4 kicks butt. You will not be disappointed. One thing to keep in mind is: if you are currently running a pressure box you will want to keep on lowest setting unless you are out beating on it, then crank up the pressure for a little added fun.

GDH11. Fill out your sig so Bob can see what you've done to your truck, & PM him here. Ask for a recomendation on software. Thats what I did.

For the rest of you running this program. What HP/TQ #'s are you getting with it. I got 430/803 with the 4.11 with aftermarket turbo/stock inj.

That's what i was gonna say....MORE SMOKE and 4.4 ramps up the rail pressure more aggressively than 4.11. Also, I heard sw3 made 100hp on the 4.4, but not sure.

My opinion, based upon being used on my truck for the past 6+ months: 4.4 only comes in one tq mgmt setting (moderate)...vs. 4.11: more smoke, more throttle response, more agressiveness, super fast turbo spool, higher egt's (not bad, but a tad higher than 4.11), less linear throttle (closer to the original smarty) all the upper levels are nearly the same for power (5,7,9)

...4.4 is still my favorite by a wide margin as i like the agressive 2 stroke power delivery...think i'm going to superglue my odbII port so no one can change it from level 9! :-) J/K

I don't have numbers, but from what i saw when people were dyno'ing the 4.4 after it's release, 450's seemed easily attainable...even will fewer mod's than you have.

Well, all I can say is WOW!!!!! this program ROCKS!!! I can't believe hoiw my truck responded to it.
Spool up is as fast as stock
I can get 42.5# boost now.(could only get to 39.8# before with 4.11)
I see 6# @ 55 mph in 4th again, & EGT's run where they did with just my old XZT.
WOT up a "steep" hill I was able to get it up to 1375* @ 70, & was pulling hard weighing in @ about 12K gross.
As for smoke, I'm not into that, & with this turbo it doesn't smoke any worse than just my old XZT. I can't thank Bob enough!!!

All the beta 4.4 programs 1-9 are within ~15 RWHP of each other. Some would give higher HP and less TQ and visversa (sp?). Most have reported ~465 RWHP with beta 4.4. Be warned, it will destroy your stock tranny, but it'll be fun.

Not sure what Beta I had ran Saturday. But I made 523hp /934tq with Smarty on 8 and TST 4/0. I had the TST set to defuel at 1350.

The presure that the Betas add are what I relly like as all I have ever used was the early TST that did not add pressure. The throttle response from right off idle is just fabulous!! Marco has done his research and is making some great options for the Dodge Cummns owners.

I am looking forward to Revo to have a few more options to select from. Then maybe I can work on the best selection to gain some additional MPG as the cost of fuel is ridiculous...
