My parents had some stuff they ordered that works awesome. They just showed it to me when I drove to CO to visit. Trouble is I forgot what it is called . I'll call this evening and get the name, and where they got it from. Basically, you spray it on, leave it for a few minutes, and the bugs almost wipe completely. It worked wonders when I was there.
.............so basically I'm no help until further notice ....................

This is a funny thread. If we were to take all the windshield cleaning effort everyone has been speaking of and redirect the effort, we could have solved world hunger issues by now. I can't believe this much time and money goes into a clean windshield. I use windex or soap and water. I bet my windshield looks just as clean as everyone elses.

I have found that by cleaning my window, it improves wind deflection and my truck is much quicker off the line. I think thats why he put it in the performance section Actually to get bugs and junk off the windshield I use westleys bleach white (spelling ???) That stuff is awesome for taking stuff off.

Dont forget less weight=MORE POWER. 10 bugs at 1lb each= 10lbs and then you bird crap which is extremely heavy. From what I see, cleaning your window properly can shave off about 20-30lbs which would make our truck reduce the nose dive which then you dont need a leveling kit and adds HP/TQ. This might be the easiest mod not talking about ANTI-SLIP floor mats that can give you precise shifting for manual trans and dual vent air fresheners as well as synthetic blinker fluid.

See... those bugs, sap and bird poop (that your trying to get rid of) actually decrease the amount of friction between your truck and the surrounding air by creating a boundary layer that inturn helps stream line the air over your truck, much like a golf ball and its dimples. So, there you have it. Please dont ask Common Sense 101 questions in this section of the Forum.

Oh, and it you want a higher top end speed, actually buy a programmer.

Hey everybody, I just went 3000 miles per hour down the freeway. This is THE BEST way, hands down, to get the bugs off. They just catch on fire, which is pretty cool, and just disappear. My windshield is spotless. And, as each bug burns up, I become more aerodynamic. So, I actually gain more speed, per given amount of fuel, as each bug burns up. It's awesome!!! Try it.
