Best TST settings for the Dyno

What are the best settings to get the max HP and Tq??? Yes I realize my egt's will be sky high with the stock turbo.. I should have my mitchell pulling clutch before the dyno days so the clutch will hold..

Im just curious what settings others are running there boxes on...

I guess it just all depends on your setup and the darn egts's

From what I've read, 7/7 seems to be about the best. Anything over that and you start to suck the fuel rail dry.

It mostly depends on the program the box has. The older version gave us a best on 5/5 with stock injectors. The newest version is supposed to be best on the higher settings, but I have not tried the newer version.

There is also a twin program we tried back in May. It does not really give any more MAX power, but brings the fuel in slightly faster. It does not requrie as much boost to begin the longer duration.

I think all the boxes are close in MAX power. The biggest difference is the level at which they are all equal.

Don,

I'm going to have mine flashed with the twins program (currently run the new one). Do you recall how much earlier it brought the fuel in?

Hmm...twins program? Gypsyman...keep us updated with your results. I need fuel sooner at a lower boost.

Will do. Just need to get Piers to squeeze me in. Hopefully it will be early this month. I'll check with Piers. Maybe he can have a box with the twins program up there when I arrive and we can dyno the program and twins at the same time.
