best stacking combination???

I am currently running a edge juice and a bully dog pp. The Edge on 5 and the bdpp on tow. I am being told by my local shop that I deal with that I should go with the edge and a ppe programer, any thoughts on this? Bear in mind that I tow alot, jayco 341rlqs 5th wheel.

No not overly,, I dont notice a huge difference,, very little to be honest, and the place I deal with are very anti-bullydog. I am finding with my tranny that I put in that I need to have more hp while pulling the trailer when going through the mountains or else I have a problem with the tq converter unlocking at in oportune times

turn the bullydog to performance? personally i wouldn't turn it past tow anyway, i'm about to run a Juice/Bully stack is why i asked.

that doesn't sound familiar to me concerning torque converter lock up. I can drive my truck stock with my DTT or at around 450hp and the tranny performs flawlessly, everytime.

but i do hear the Juice/PPE is a good stack. Since you already have a turbo, i would say its time for a TST.

I tried the bully dog on extreme, it changed,, but I ran the tests that are available in the attitude,, and it didnt make much difference in the 0 to 60 second times,,, tranny works awesome, just til i am climbing a really big pull and when it just starts to pull down it will just bounce in and out of lock up,, very violent. I went back to the shop that built it,,we came up with adding more hp. Helped, not eliminated though, so I want to find some more easy hp see if that fixes it up

the bullydog makes mine do that down low on take off....just for a split second it will want to jump but then it grabs and goes back to pulling. on crazy larry it does it a lot....but when running stock power it rarely ever does it. I have noticed it more with the download 2.3.1, thats one reason why i am going Hot Juice and will leave the Bully on lower settings.

not meaning to question anyone....but does your tranny shop also sell chips? cause that would be a heck of way to make money...."yea get more hp to fix your problem, and be sure to buy from us!"

lol,,, no kidding, they actually do,, but the tranny I have is their high hp model,, designed for racing, not exactly for towing, but because I am expecting to have around 550 to 600 on the ground, and I use it for pulling my trailer so they decided I should use this tranny,, now we have to get the bugs out, working about 90% now,, up from the 85 before we upped the boost and stacked the chips,, really excited about trying out the ppe unit.

if i was you, i would sell the Edge and start running a TST/ MP8/Bullydog stack.

I know you don't have the same turbo, but look up Luken on here....and look at the power he can put down.
