Combination fuel tank/tool box
Combination fuel tank/tool box
Thought I saw somewhere a combination fuel tank and tool box, the kind that mounts behind the cab and across the bed. Anyone know where or who makes them? Also anyone have any plans or ideas for a tilt front end for a 99?
These are great but not cheap

If you ever find a tilt-up I'd sure like one, sure make life easier.
A lot of stuff mounted on the fender wells that would have to be made flexible though.

Thanks for the info and web site, checked them out and they are a little to pricey for me even with their 40% discount. I have thought about building my own but I don't think I am that good of a welder,( I would probably go up in flames some night on the big road). Will be thinking about a tilt front or fenders that hinge out for easier access............
I have seen some sharp aluminum ones at the local tractor/farm supply here in Ok called Tractor supply for example, not near as fancy with no electronics, just gravity feed,no gauges etc, but they work. Try some local farm stores and truck supplys in your area, I have a gravity feed it is slow, but going down the road for great distances it bothers me not, when main tank gets to 1/4, I hit switch and knock on wood I have yet to forget to shut it off and make a mess. Goodluck, Rick
