Best programmer for towing?

What's up fellas? I'm new to the whole diesel arena and would like a little help choosing a programmer or other electrical upgrade to help out when towing. I won't be drag racing my truck and don't really care about hp and tq numbers. What I'm looking for is a little boost in power with no worries or destroying my baby, and something with features to better the towing experience. I also don't want to have to upgrade fuel pumps and injectors and turbos. Anyne have any suggestions?

I like the units that display all the info found on a full set of guages, but I'm not against adding a simple program then installing a full set of guages.

I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!

I'd go with a MP8 it keeps everything in check and you can get a box with gauges to go on it that also has a HUD system, Now thats COOL

I had a tripple dog and didn't like it. I wanted the same as you, some more power that I didn't have to worry about. I ended up going with the Banks system, several of my friends had good luck with the stuff so I figured I'd try it and I love it. The truck has alot more power, alot more fuel economy, and it drives great. The 6 gun and speed loader automatically monitors the EGT's and reduces fuel to keep the temps in a safe range, it also reduces power when the engine is still cold. It also makes sure the torque converter is locked up before it gives it more power so you don't kill the OEM converter! Alot of people here have had poor experiances with Banks, but it seems a few more recent users like their products. I've got the exhaust and the 6 gunn with speed loader, I've also got a K&N intake. I love the setup, I can do anything with it and not worry about hurting it. Good luck with the decision, there is alot out there!
