Hey guys im pushing a 2005 5.9 3500 dually 4in tbe. Soon to have 50hp injectors. looking to run a programmer to help with my milage. i have heard the smarty will only help a mpg or two... What are you guys getting with your different programmers and setups? Any info is helpfull. Looking into the smarty jr. Or possibly the edge cts. Let me know guys. Thanks

 

If your lucky you'll get more MPG with a tuner. I have used several tuners on different trucks and never saw anything other that a better running truck. Smarty Jr. will help with your EGT's with 50HP sticks though. Just as an example, I have Scheid lightning 50's and a Smarty Jr. Was told maybe 1-2 with sticks and maybe 1-2 with the Jr. I got nothing from either but a much better running and quicker truck.
