I have 2005 dodge stock have looked at a lot but donot know what works best and not void warranty.

 

Any box or programmer may void your warranty. Just take it off before going to the dealer. Just be prepared that if they find that you had one, and you have some major damage, you may lose the warranty. If you are concerned about it then you may want to wait a couple years before upgrading... I waited........................................... ..............................a whole day before I started upgrading mine!!!

we've been over this topic numerous times. For modules look at Quadzilla and Edge to begin with....programmers look at the Bullydog stuff.

 

Got to go with the smarty man. NO tracks, it reads and deletes codes, 170 hp on the 05, real tranny killer I hear.

I have one for my 2000, but I want to try one for my dads 03. Supposedly the 3rd gen smarty is wicked.

 

i actually road tested a smarty for a weekend.....i put Bullydog's crazy larry back on before the weekend was up if that tells you anything. not a fan.

 

There will be a Smarty for sale here very soon if my new BD Diesel tranny doesn't make it look/feel ALOT better. The aggressiveness of the fueling/ throttle is ridiculous, and not in a good way. Maybe it's me or my truck, but I can't hold the go pedal still enough for the boost or rpms to stay in one spot on the higher settings, it's all over the place surging.

Marco will be updating the software for those who want a less aggressive throttle/

Remember this was the first release that had to cover all the bases.

The smarty will be more refined and updated to the customers wants and needs.

THanks Bob! One more qustion though, what's a higher priority and going to happen first, a more driveable tune or a new Smarty for the 06 people?? Not that they should have to wait, but ummm, customer service????
