Need some suggestions on where to get the best price for a compete Jake kit for a '04.5 CTD six speed. I see some on ebay from Dodge dealers for around $11-1200. That sound right?

 

I would hold out because for a while there you could get them for around $700. I want the Pac Brake PRXB or else I would have got one. I believe a member on here found one for even less than that.

ya just watch ebay regulaley i got mine for 650 3 weeks ago theres a guy that sells 3 or 4 amonth for that price but there generally gone in about 2 days

and i didnt ask what they wanted for the jake brake kit but the local rocky mountin cummins truck shop wanted half of what dodge did for the turbo gasket $27 verse 57to 65f rom the local dodge dealers so it might not hurt to get the cummins part# number and give them a call

 

We put one on my friends 03 and he bought straigh through cummins dealer and paid right about 650 I think. I will find out for sure. 1100-1200 is crazy.
